Album: Klamath River Basin Views
More than 60% of the Klamath River Basin (including the Trinity) is blocked by large ladder-less dams. Anadromous salmon, lamprey and other species have declined dramatically as a result of these blockages, and the poor water-quality conditions created by the reservoirs, and multiple land-use practices.

Album: Yuba River Dams
The Engelbright Dam, and the New Bullards Bar Dam are two large ladderless dams on the South Fork, and North Forks of the Yuba River (respectively). No fish passage here.

Album: Eel River Dams
Photos by Bradly Burns, for Friends of the Eel River. An overview of the Scott Dam and the Van Arsdale Dam and Fish Ladder, located on the upper mainstem of the Eel River. The Scott Dam blocks hundreds of miles of potential spawning and rearing habitat, and creates ideal nursery condition for the alien squawfish, aka Sacramento pike minnow.
